In Science, we looked at the human body. We drew around a peer and then worked as a team and then labelled the correct parts.
We acted out being a function robot to help us solve problems. We used concrete objects to help us develop our understanding.
We love Forest School! Zoe is our Forest School Teacher. We love exploring the land and learning about nature. We love having a hot chocolate by the fire!
In Maths we have been looking at statistics. Working in a team, we used sticky notes to create a pictogram.
In Art, we looked at Henri Rousseau. We created our own picture based on 'The Tiger in the Tropical Storm'. We used water colour, collage and oil pastels to create our pictures.
In computing we started coding on Espresso
In English we wrote our own Kenning Poems. We then wrote our own poems and sat in a circle to share them. Our peers then guessed what animal they were writing about in their poem.
Some of Supernovas took part in a gymnastics competition. We came 2nd :)
In Art, we looked at the book 'Window' by Jeanie Baker. We made inferences from the picture. This then inspired us to draw our view from our own window, using sketching and shading skills.
We used the IPADS to programme a beebot around the garden.
One of our parents bought in a turtle shell. We had a question and answer session. We looked at facts on the internet. In maths we had been looking at symmetry and tessellating. We spotted this on the turtle shell.
In our PATHS lessons we looked at ourselves and why it is amazing to be me! We used the book Frog is Frog to give us inspiration and looked at what our star qualities are.
